UL电动车线缆EVT/EVJT/EVE等如何通过UL 62-2014第19版新要求认证

电动车概念成为近两年的网红,中国,欧洲,日本和中国等均有立项和优先政策成为未来的重要产业。,北美UL EVT/EVJT/EVE等电动车线缆标准已经更新,新版UL 62 -19版要求已获得证书的厂家需要重新送样增加Sec. 5.1.22低温冲击试验, 5.1.23 抗压测试,否则证书可能会被取消。新申请认证此两个项目是必检之一。有一些厂家有不同地失败,如同时有-40C低温冲击试验样品开裂失败,抗压测试电线外皮破裂失败的,或低温冲击失败, 抗压测试失败。

5.1.22 Low-temperature impact test (Types EV, EVEm,u, EVT) 低温冲击试验

5.1.22.1 Electric vehicle cables containing at least one conductor 10 AWG or larger shall not exhibit cracks or ruptures visible to normal or corrected-to-normal vision in the overall jacket component insulation or component shield coverings on at least 8 out of 10 specimens of finished cable when tested in accordance with the test, Cold Impact, in UL 2556 or CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 2556, 7.7 after conditioning for 4 h at minus 40 or at the lower temperature rating marked on the cable.

5.1.23 Crush resistance test (Types EV, EVJ, EVJT, EVEm,u, EVT, EVJEm,u) 抗压测试(耐压试验/挤压测试/压碾测试) 

5.1.23.1 Finished cable shall be subjected to the test, Crush Resistance, in accordance with UL 2556 or CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 2556; 7.11.2Method 2 (drill rod and plate).

5.1.23.2 Results and calculations - each finished cable shall comply with the minimum average crush force as indicated below:

(a)  For cable with at least one conductor up to and including 12 AWG conductors - 4.45 kN (1,000 lbs).

(b)  For cable using larger than 12 AWG and up through 2 AWG conductors - 11.1 kN (2,500 lbs).

(c)  For cable using larger than 2 AWG conductors - 15.6 kN (3,500 lbs).
