For the purposes of this part of IEC 60884, the definitions given in IEC 60050(151) as well as the following
definitions apply.

NOTE 1 Where the terms "voltage" and "current" are used, they imply r.m.s. values, unless otherwise specified.

3.1 plug 插头
accessory having pins designed to engage with the contacts of a socket-outlet, also incorporating
means for the electrical connection and mechanical retention of flexible cable

3.2 socket-outlet 插座
accessory having socket-contacts designed to engage with the pins of a plug and having terminals for
the connection of cable

3.3 fixed socket-outlet 固定式插座
socket-outlet intended to be connected to fixed wiring
指打算与固定布线連接的插座。
3.4 portable socket-outlet 移动式插座
socket-outlet intended to be connected to, or integral with, the flexible cable and which can easily be
moved from one place to another while connected to the supply
规定为与软线接线或与软线组成一个组件的插座，移动式插座接通电源后很容易从一个位置
移动到另一个位置。
3.5 multiple socket-outlet 多孔插座
combination of two or more socket-outlets

3.6 socket-outlet for appliances 电器插座

3.7 rewirable plug or rewirable portable socket-outlet

3.9 moulded-on accessory 模压插接装置

3.10 mounting box 安装盒
box intended for mounting in or on a wall, floor or ceiling, etc., for flush or surface application,
intended for use with fixed socket-outlet(s)

3.11 cord set 电线组件
assembly consisting of one flexible cable fitted with one plug and one single connector, intended for

3.12 cord extension set 电源延长线组
assembly consisting of one flexible cable fitted with one plug and one single or multiple portable

3.13 terminal 端子
insulated or non-insulated connecting device intended for reusable electrical connection of the
external conductors

external conductors

part or parts of a terminal necessary for the mechanical clamping and the electrical connection of the
conductor(s)

3.16 screw-type terminal 螺纹型端子
terminal for the connection and subsequent disconnection of a conductor or the interconnection of
two or more conductors, capable of being dismantled, the connection being made, directly or
indirectly, by means of screws or nuts of any kind
透过任何類型的螺丝或螺帽以直接或间接方式，用于連接及拆除导线或多根以上导线延伸連
接的端子。
3.17 pillar terminal 柱型端子  
screw-type terminal in which the conductor is inserted into a hole or cavity, where it is clamped under
the end of the screw or screws. The clamping pressure may be applied directly by the end of the
screw or through an intermediate clamping member to which pressure is applied by the end of the
screw. NOTE Examples of pillar terminals are shown in figure 2.
一种螺纹型端子，导线插入端子的插孔或槽中被螺柱的底端夹紧，夹紧力可直接透过螺柱施

3.18 screw terminal 螺丝端子
screw-type terminal in which the conductor is clamped under the head of the screw. The clamping
pressure may be applied directly to the head of a screw or through an intermediate part, such as a
washer, clamping plate or anti-spread device. NOTE Examples of screw terminals are shown in figure 3.
一种螺纹型端子，其中导线被螺丝头部夹紧，夹紧力可直接透过螺丝头部施加或透过压板件

3.19 stud terminal 螺栓端子
screw-type terminal in which the conductor is clamped under a nut. The clamping pressure may be
applied directly by a suitably shaped nut or through an intermediate part, such as a washer, clamping
plate or anti-spread device. NOTE Examples of stud terminals are shown in figure 3.
一种螺纹型端子，其中导线被螺帽夹紧，夹紧力可直接透过适当形狀的螺帽施加或透过压板

3.20 saddle terminal 夹板端子
screw-type terminal in which the conductor is clamped under a saddle by means of two or more
screws or nuts. NOTE Examples of saddle terminals are shown in figure 4.

3.21 mantle terminal 罩式端子
screw-type terminal in which the conductor is clamped against the base of a slot in a threaded stud by
means of a nut. The conductor is clamped against the base of the slot by a suitably shaped washer
under the nut, by a central peg if the nut is a cap nut, or by equally effective means for transmitting the
pressure from the nut to the conductor within the slot. NOTE Examples of mantle terminals are shown in figure 5.

3.22 screwless terminal 无螺纹端子
connecting device for the connection and subsequent disconnection of a rigid (solid or stranded) or
flexible conductor or the interconnection of two or more conductors, capable of being dismantled, the
connection being made, directly or indirectly, by means of springs, parts  of angled, eccentric or
conical form, etc., without special preparation of the conductor concerned, other than removal of
insulation
用以連结或拆卸兩根或以上的实心或绞合硬导线或软导线导线的组件。无螺纹端子可直接建
立連接或透过弹簧、楔子、偏心輪或锥体等建立連接且除了剥除绝缘外不需对导线作特别的
加工。
3.23 thread-forming screw 自攻螺丝
screw having an uninterrupted thread, which by screwing in, forms a thread by displacing material.
NOTE An example of a thread-forming screw is shown in figure 6.
一种具有不间断螺纹的自攻螺丝，旋入时透过挤压材料形成螺纹。注︰自攻螺丝的例子見图6。
3.24 thread-cutting screw 自切螺丝
screw having an interrupted thread, which by screwing in, forms a thread by removing material. NOTE
An example of a thread-cutting screw is shown in figure 7.
一种具有间断螺纹的自攻螺丝，旋入时透过削去材料形成螺纹。注︰自切螺丝的例子見图7。
3.25 rated voltage 额定电压
voltage assigned to the plug or socket-outlet by the manufacturer, which will be that specified in the
standard sheet, if any
制造商为插头或插座设定的电压，额定电压在标准规范中（若有）规定。
3.26 rated current 额定电流
current assigned to the plug or socket-outlet by the manufacturer, which will be that specified in the
standard sheet, if any

3.27 shutter 遮蔽片
movable part incorporated into a socket-outlet  arranged to shield at least the live socket-outlet
contacts automatically when the plug is withdrawn
内建在插座内一个可移动的部分，具有插头拔除时会自动地将插座导电接触片遮蔽的功能。
3.28 type test 型式试验  
test of one or more devices made to a certain  design to show that the design meets certain
specifications
某种特定類型的一个或數个器部件的试验，目的是检验器部件是否满足规定的标准。
3.29 routine test 例行试验  
test to which each individual device is subjected during and/or after manufacture to ascertain whether
it complies with certain criteria
在制造过程中或之后每个器部件做的试验，目的是保证每个器部件符合规定的判定标准。
3.30 base 基座
part of the socket-outlet supporting the socket-contacts
插座中支撑导电花朵的结构。
3.31 live part 带电部件
conductor or conductive part intended to be energized in normal use, including a neutral conductor,
but, by convention, not a PEN conductor [IEV 826-03-01]
规定为正常运作时带电压的每根导线或每个载流元部件，包括中线。但惯例上并不包括 PEN

3.32 cable anchorage 线夹
that part of an accessory which has the ability to limit the displacement of a fitted flexible cable
